After discontinuance of the respective purpose or at the end of these periods, the corresponding data is routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with statutory provisions.
Like many other websites, we also use “cookies”. Cookies are small text files that are transferred to your hard drive by a website server. From them, we automatically receive certain data such as your IP address, browser, operating system and your connection to the internet.

Hierzu protokollieren wir die Bestellung des Newsletters, den Versand einer Bestätigungsmail und den Eingang der hiermit angeforderten Antwort. Weitere Daten werden nicht erhoben. 9. Web fonts
To present our content correctly and attractively in all common browsers, we use type libraries on our websites, e. g. Webfonts by Hoefler&Co. [https://www.typography.com/] or fonts.com [https://www.fonts.com/]. Web fonts are transferred to your browser’s cache so that they do not have to be loaded again and again. If your browser does not support the web fonts or prevents access to them, the content is shown in a standard type.
When type libraries are called, this automatically triggers a connection to the operator of the library. It is then theoretically possible that the operators of such libraries collect data – although it is unclear at present whether they do and, if they do, to what ends.
10. Google Tag Manager
This website uses “Google Tag Manager”, a service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter called: “Google”). Google Tag Manager enables us as marketer to manage web page tags via an interface. Tags are tiny code elements on websites that serve, amongst other purposes, to measure traffic and user behaviour, to collect data on the effect of online advertising and social channels, to deploy re-marketing and targeting of specific groups, and to test and optimise websites. The tool Google Tag Manager, which implements the tags, is a cookieless domain and does not collect personal data itself. Google Tag Manager triggers other tags that might collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If disabled at domain or cookie level, this remains effective for all tracking tags that are implemented with Google Tag Manager.
Google has in the meantime joined the Privacy Shield agreement between the European Union and the USA, and has been certified accordingly. Google has thus undertaken to comply with the standards and regulations of European data protection law. You can find further information at the following link:

3. Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies” (text files placed on your computer) to analyse your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymisation has been activated on this website, Google will, however, truncate your IP address in the Member States of the European Union and in other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.
An opt-out cookie that prevents the future collection of your data will then be set on your computer.
Please note that Google Analytics code has been supplemented on this website by “anonymizeIp” to ensure anonymised collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).
In addition, or as alternative to the browser add-on or within browsers on mobile devices, you can prevent tracking by Google Analytics on our pages by clicking this link [Disable Google Analytics]. This installs an opt-out cookie on your device. This prevents data collection by Google Analytics for this website and for this browser in future as long as the cookie remains installed in your browser.
To commit Google to processing of the transferred data only in accordance with our instructions and only in compliance with applicable data protection regulations, we have concluded a processing contract with Google. In the exceptional case that data is transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the Privacy Shield agreement concluded between the European Union and the USA and has been certified in this regard. Google has thus undertaken to comply with the standards and regulations of European data protection law. You can find further information at the following link:

12. Google Maps
This website uses Google Maps API to show geographical information visually. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data on usage of the map functions by visitors. You can find further information on data processing by Google at the Google data privacy statement at [https://policies.google.com/privacy?&hl=en-GB]. There you can change your personal data protection settings in the data privacy centre.
See the following link for detailed instructions on management of your own data in connection with Google products:
13. MATOMO, previously PIWIK
Data for marketing and optimisation purposes is collected and stored on this website with “Matomo”, an open-source web analytics tool [https://matomo.org]. Usage profiles can be created from this data under a pseudonym. Cookies can be used to this end. Cookies are small text files that are stored locally in the cache of the site visitor’s internet browser. The cookies enable recognition of the internet browser. The data collected with “Matomo” is not used to identify the visitor to this website personally and also not merged with personal data on the bearer of the pseudonym without the express consent of the person concerned.
14. Embedded videos
We embed video files in some of our web pages to make them more interesting and informative. The operator of the corresponding plug-in is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plug-in, it connects to the YouTube servers. In this way YouTube is informed of which pages you visit. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can relate your browsing habits to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.
When you start a YouTube video, the provider deploys cookies that collect information on your user behaviour.
If you have disabled storage of cookies for the Google Ad program, it is unlikely that such cookies will be stored when viewing YouTube videos. YouTube does, however, store non-personalised user information in other cookies. If you wish to prevent this, you must disable storage of cookies in your browser.
You can find further information on data privacy at “YouTube” in the provider’s data privacy statement at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en-GB
15. Social plug-ins
We offer you the use of so-called “social media buttons” on our website. To protect your data, we use the solution “Shariff” in implementing this function. As a result, these buttons are embedded on the website merely as graphics containing a link to the corresponding web page of the button provider. By clicking the graphic, therefore, you are forwarded to the services of the respective provider. Only then is your data sent to the respective provider. If you do not click this graphic, there is no communication between you and the provider of the social media button.
We have integrated the social media buttons of the following companies in our website: Twitter, Facebook, Google + and Whatsapp.
16. Admission, validity and effectiveness of the privacy statement
By using our website you agree to use of your data as described above. The privacy statement is currently valid and dates from March 2018.
Further development of our website or implementation of new technologies may make it necessary to amend this privacy statement. STAHL CraneSystems GmbH reserves the right to amend the privacy statement at any time with future effect. We recommend that you reread the privacy statement from time to time.
17. Security advice
By taking all technical and organisational measures possible, we make every effort to store your personal data in such a way that third parties cannot access it.
To secure your data during transfer, we apply suitable state-of-the-art encryption methods via HTTPS (e. g. SSL).
We cannot ensure full data security in communication by e-mail and therefore recommend that you despatch confidential information by post.
